Film and sound installation at NN Contemporary Art

The installation consists of a 20 minute film looped, playing on a monitor inside the gallery space. The films accompanying audio is played through a single horn speaker outside the gallery space, in the entrance lobby to the building. The setup eliminates the possibility of experiencing the film and it’s audio simultaneously - the audio can be heard outside, on the street, but not inside the gallery. Both the film and audio are interposed with sections of black screen/silence.
